The music of the Beatles has touched the lives of so many of us over the years, and most of us have a favourite Beatles song: whether it's the melodic Yesterday or Michelle, the rocky Back in the USSR or the singalong Hey Jude.

And of course the songs of the Beatles - the towering songwriting talent of Lennon and McCartney, and the often under-rated George Harrison - have been covered admiringly by hundreds of artists. And that's what this all about.
